Sort Field

Dear Experts,
I have designed one Form.i have mapped some fields from Item table.
In item table we created one integer field to sort the item numbers.

In my newly created form i have mapped the same field from item table. But the problem is when i press SHIFT + F8 that field is not coming in the sorting. So how can i put that field in my sorting??

Please let me know! Thanks in advance!!!

In NAV sorting is based on the keys that have been defined for the table. So you need to create a key on the item table based on your new field.

Dear IvanVugt, The key is already defined in Item table.

Like in RetaiL item list the sorting is ok we can sort it by that column. But the same column from item table i have mapped in my newly created from and that form is basically based on Table 7002 Sales price.

Now in my form through programming i can see that column in my newly created form. The only thing i need is that i want it to be sorted just like in the form which is based on item table.

In my new form i have that same field which is in item table. But it is not showing in the sorting.

Please tell me how can i bring that for sorting in my new form???

O, sorry, you should create that key on table 7002.

If it is kindly me how can i define tha key in table 7002???
