Hi friends,

I need some advise, I have a report and the report will generate excel file from excel buffer.
The navision process to populate excel buffer took time only 3 minutes, but when generating the excel file took time around 30 minutes. Is there any way to reduce the timing when generating the excel file? I am using nav 2009 SP1. The generate excel file has 16500 records.

I think this long duration mainly depends on the business logic inside the report. To be sure about that: Compare durations between the preview and send to excel options (if it's possible) If there is a significant difference between these options then you may investigate Excel part of the problem.
