Hi people
I have two different databases both running NAV 5.0 and I want to test the differences between the two, especially when I have to transfer a company from one DB to the other. My primary DB is heavily modified with lots of customizations and the other one - which is the target database - contains little to none customizations. Transferring a company from a DB with many customized objects to a clean DB returns too many errors..
I have searched the download section but it's a bit chaotic to test every single search result with the word "compare"
Moreover, I want to use it with local DBs if possible...
Thanks!

You can Developer's Tool Kit for NAV for import and compare objects. Its very useful.

Once in a rare while, I'll pop them out as text, use one of the splitters from the Downloads section, and then use WinMerge to compare the resulting files. You can use the Patch File functionality to make a Diff file, which can be helpful to use as a checklist.
