Receipt "Posting date"

Hi all,
On purchase receipts there is the field "posting date" and this field retrieves the date from the Po."Posting date" when the receipt is created. Has anybody modfied the posting routine to equal today and not the PO."Posting date" ?

Pros & Cons please ?

PurchRcptHeader.TRANSFERFIELDS(PurchHeader);

After this write
PurchRcptHeader."Posting Date" := TODAY;OR ( Workdate)

Before the PurchRcptHeader.insert;

You need to change in CU PurchPost where "purchase receipt header" inserted.
add line

PurchRcptHeader."Posting Date" := TODAY;

before

PurchRcptHeader.INSERT;

Is there any negative effects on postings etc ?

Vendor rating will be affected if you are using..

Or without changing the code, you can modify the date to today in Order and can post..

Are you using the functionality?(It's in QC module of Indian localisation)
