Enable Expected cost posting per Item.

I have to work with expected cost posting for cetain Items only. Hence I need to turn on Expected Cost Posting in Inventory Setup. I am looking for a way to disable expected cost posting for other items, on which the sytem should post as when Expected Cost Posting is not on.

Does anyone have indicators to best achieve this with minimal customisation, and areas of customisation?

If you enable the fields are Automatic cost posting, as well expected cost posting , Standard Navision will post the expected cost to Interim accounts .

If you dont want to generate any G/L value you can set the field Inventory Value Zero to Yes.

It could be better if the requirement in detail why you want to post to expected cost to general ledger for some items , then we can share the thoughts.
