Navision Shortcuts via email

Version US 4.00 SP3 (5.0 SP1).

Client runs in a Citrix desktop for all users.

We would like to be able to send shortcuts to specific NAV documents via Outlook (2003)

First issue is with outlook. When sitting on a NAV doc/form/list, etc. and choosing the File - Send to - Mail recipient, the outlook new message form comes up but indicates "outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: <name of the document - form> . url

So it's seeing the NAV URL as a potential threat. Realizing this is a NAV forum and not outlook, I'm sure we can figure that out another way but thought perhaps others have encountered it and know the fix.

The biggest issue is that when the link is opened by double clicking it (I've tested this by saving the link the the desktop and clicking it), NAV will fire up right to the doc/list/etc. but it does it in a new instance of the NAV client. Our users always have one instance running so obvously this is bad in that it is likely using a second license, is taking additional overhead on the Citrix server(s), and can be confusing for users when they see mutliple citrix clients running.

Does anyone have a way to use the shortcuts function to open up the shortcut as just another window in an existing NAV client?

Thank you for your time and feedback.
