Material receipt in a different way

Hi All,

I am facing one business scenerio which i am not able to find the solution.

Customer purchases the Scrap , but Scrap divided in to different grades Like Grade A, Grade B, Grade C.... ( Each grade is seperate item ), but Customer does not have the scrap grade that time issuing the PO to supplier. After receving the material from supplier , it will go for QC and QC Specialist will tell the Scrap Grade . So now do this Scenerio in Navision and how will you receive material ?

Make a purchase order with item Ungraded scrap. After the grade is known change the PO to correct item and receive.

The Current process is after receiving the material then customer will come to know the Grades of the Scrap. In this case how to do the scenerio.

Hi Ashish,

Use Bin Functionality, At time of receiving material received in "UnderQuality" (Bin Code), once Quality Analysis is done.
Use Item Reclassification for transferring material from one bin (UnderQuality) to another bin (Grade A or Grade B, etc).
