Odbc and Like statement

Hi everybody,

i have done a search engine on a VisualBasic software to find some items in the same name table.
So to do that, i used the Like statement in my sql query and my problem is the type of query is really long to execute. ](*,)

So i want to know if someone already had this problem or know any tips to improve process duration :?:

And this is related to NAV how?
NAV uses the like statement often when searching with the option "search while you type" option.
perhaps the client monitor could help you to find bottleneks in your query vs the NAV queries.
