Hi All,
I am currently installing NAV 2009 R2 in three tier mode. I have done the following
1. On SQL 2005 Server (Machine I )Created NAV 2009 R2 Database (my SQL Service is running under a Domain Service account with Admin privilege)
2. Installed Service layer on Machine II, (my Dynamics Service is running under a Domain Service account with Admin privilege). I changed the Config File for following
a. Changed the DatabaseServer to my SQL Server Machine (Machine I)
b. Changed DatabaseName to the Newly Created Database on Machine I
c. Changed Webservicedefaulttimezone to India Standard Time
3. Installed RTC Client on Machine III.
NOTE - In all scenarios I am logged in on all machines with a common Domain Service Account (with admin privilege)
Scenario I - If I connect the SQL Server from Machine II (Where Service layer is installed), I am able to do so.
Scenario II - If I connect Database Server from Machine III, I get the error as attached in file Error I. if check the Event Log on my server I get error as attached in File Error II
