error installing RMS

I am having some difficulty installing Headquarters on my laptop. Am able to use the Headquarters Administrator to connect to a database using windows login. However when doing the Configuration, it is asking me for username : sa and password. Even if am giving the correct parameters, when i Test Connection, it gives me error.
Do you have any idea why?
