CRM 2011 - Mapping fields from Lookup

Hi All
Just checking if I have done something wrong.

What I'm trying to achieve is when using a Lookup field to search "Contacts", I would like the "Phone Number" field to reflect the "Business Phone Number" stored on the contact card.

I have added the relationship to the Lookup field as shown here:



Now after publishing and trying out the action of selecting a contact, it doesn't seem to have any affect to the "Phone Number" field.

Here is the data stored:






Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry for the late reply,
Unfortunately I gave up with this route and created custom workflows to create the new activities and then load them..

This allowed me to tell the workflow how to populate the data for any given field

actually sometimes that's happened ! you haven't have to worry too much about it !

I tried on rollup 8 and crm online.
Mapping fields from lookup is still not working...

This is the most viewed topic on the mibuso CRM forum, so I guess it's something people actually need.
