Problem with embedded pictures in mail body using smtp

Hi,
Could anyone help with the following.
I would like to send bulk-mail through smtp (using NAS).
The body of the mail wich is created exists only of text with some layout settings like font-size and font-name, etc.
This functionality is copied from the "Document Approval" tool and is working without any problems.
One advantage of this tool is that the client can adjust the layout of the template.
Now our client wants to use the same smtp mail functionality by adding pictures in the body of the mail.
The htm file wich is send by the smtp server only use text format, the picture in the mail in not text, this is a link to the location of the picture.
Is it possible to embed pictures in the body of the mail?

The problem is solved, we can use htm tags like <img src="\\Pictures\picture1.bmp">
