Selection Of Multiple databases through one exe

Dear All,

I have a query that do we able to run two different database with a single batch file condition is if there is a connectivity with one database the it open the first one else the second one.

I am not sure if I can answer, because you are waiting positive answer and I do not have one... :whistle: But you can wait for ages for positive one...

There is no automatic server selection or something like that in the standard. You will need to create some tool for that. Question is, if your DBs are Native or MS SQL.

My databases are Sql on both side, But is it making differences if the database types are native also?????

Yes, because it is much simpler to do some SQL availability testing than Native DB availability testing in some code. It means, it is not so hard to create some application which will test if SQL server XY is available and if yes, run the application A1 with parameters B. If it is not available run application A2 with parameters B2 etc.
