Hello, We are having trouble establishing the price on a sales item that constantly changes due to the strength/value of that item. We want to see the actual sales price on our reports, but we are unable to change the sales price of this item without NAV calculating a line discount amount each time. That is not desireable. I was wondering if we could use the Desired Unit Price function to authorize a new sales price for this item each time without calculating line discounts. Does the sales price on the price worksheet still need to be greater than zero?
I have been unable to find any instructions on how to use the Desired Price function in any MS Dynamics Student Manuals or white papers.
Thank you for any input.

Thank you for the suggestion, though.
Is this part of the automatic approvals that can be set up to work in NAV?
Also, setting a unit price on the Sales Price table and making sure the Allow Line Discount is checked off will take the Unit Price on the sales price table. You can try that on the standard unmodified CRONUS database.
Approval process does not have anything to do with sales price.
