Once again, the voting for Most influential Dynamics persons started. And if you look at the charts, the winning persons right now are totally unkown for me (may be some from AX and CRM?).

Come on and show them that there is NAV world too!

You can find your well-known names here: http://www.dynamicsworld.co.uk/2011Voting.php

    Who the heck cares about that list. By posting these types of messages you play exactly into their hand. I've also seen people post "please vote for me" messages on facebook and linkedin... it's ridiculous

    I understand what you mean... I am mind-splitted in this... I know that the site is "commerce focused", but from other side, I do not like the status of NAV in the Dynamics family. I wanted to support the NAV. Some people are looking on this and would say: "Hay, look, the people from CRM, AX ... are in the top of this, it must be the leading product...".

    I've always thought it was sort of a popularity contest. Like the people who get elected Prom King / Queen.

    If it is not on Mibuso, I don't pay attention to it. :thumbsup:

    I also think that the naming is completely wrong. That or I have a very different definition of Influential. The people in that list may be important, respected, valued, etc, but I don't think most of them are influential.

    The poll itself is also flawed. If you don't know who the people are you'll just vote for the name that sounds familiar, or the name that you know works with the same product that you do.

    @Denster

    That will probably be me then :D . The business I work for requested I publicise this in line with teh Microsoft driven focus on Socialnomics (I kid you not). I do not want to get into an argument over this as you may know some of my background, I basically agree with you (I posted it as requested and I have now left it). I am listed as my real name, not this name, so how would anyone know who I am? Anyway it is purely marketing leverage, I have no influence and should not be on the list. My 2 cents.

    @AdamRoue,

    At least 4 other people (that I know of, ppl in my FB list) besides you have taken to FB, and I've seen a number of them on linkedin too. I know that some do it as sort of a joke, but in doing so, this list gets credibility that it simply does not deserve in my opinion.

    PS: you DO belong on a "most influential" list, I just question this particular list's credibility

    This all is of course just my opinion :mrgreen:

    Com'on Daniel, laugh it off. I tend to view it as a joke more than anything else (you probably saw my FB posting). If that company can gain more revenue as a result of this, good for them! They can pay more taxes, hire more employees/contractors, generate more productivity, etc for they country. It's a win!

    It's a tide that's hard to be stop because everyone wants to be homecoming king/queen.

    If you want to market yourself as an "influential Dynamics person" because you got 200 Facebook friends to vote for you, then by all means....

    Personally, I don't think that is very funny
