Credit Card Payment Processing Service in Nav 2009 R2

Has anyone used the new Credit Card Payment processing services available in Nav R2? Is it reliable?

NAV communicates with online services (aka the cloud). Are you asking if the cloud service are reliable?

Or are you asking if the communication is reliable?

I did some basic testing and didn't see any issues.

Basically I would like to find out if the credit card processing feature is realiable or not. does it have issues when running in production environemnt? are all credit card payment processed correctly?

Tonym, did you ever get an answer to your question? We are looking into this as well but I have to say I'm finding very little information other than the standard "how to set it up" info.

I understand from Microsoft that customers in the USA have been unhappy at the limited number of card acquirers supported. If the service is extended to other countries I was led to believe partners will be provided with templates and they will integrate with acquirers, rather than Microsoft.

terryg, no I haven't gotten any answer for this question.

At the end, we didn't use any of credit card payment providers that Microsoft provides because our customer's current credit card payment processor is not supported by Microsoft. We had to build integration between Navision and our customer's credit card payment processor using web service.

I did not used it personally but heard about its flexibility and faster payments services.
