Get Value from Formula in Excel

Hi:
I am using GetValue from the excelbuffer to return the value of a cell. Unfortunately it is returnin a formula instead (i.e. =SUM(B1:B10)).
Is there any way to get the value from this formula instead?

There is an good example of handling import from Excel (xls-files) in Report 81 Import Budget from Excel.
Data is temporary stored in Table 370 Excel Buffer which contains a filed called "Cell Value as Text".
There You can find the result of a formula converted to a value.
