Fixed Asset Depreciation - Multiple Acquisitions Costs

Hi,

I have posted several acquisitions costs to a single FA card with different posting dates during the year 2010.
The problem occurs when I try running the Calculate Depreciation batch job, which doesn't calculate any value for the first month.

The Depreciation batch job validates if the last acquisition cost date is "superior" to the posting date in the depreciation batch job, and when it's true it doesn't write to the FA Journal.

Example:
First Acquistion Cost: 01-01-2010
Last Acquistion Cost: 01-04-2010
FA Posting Date (in the Depreciation batch job): 31-01-2010
Work Date: 31-04-2010

Is there any way I can run the depreciation batch job for january, when there are acquisition costs posted in March?

No AFAIK NAV consider the latest acquisition cost as the date when the asset is finally accounted for and then starts calculates the depreciation. If there are multiple acquistion cost then either the asset is not fully in use (assumption by system) and depreciation will be calcualted from the last acquisition cost or you should open new FA card for each acquisition.
