Hi,
We developed a smtp email function to send email (ENU and French in body) to customers by using codeunit 400. But somehow we found from some workstations, the email sends ok, but from other workstation, all extended ASCII codes have been sent out as question mark. We contact Microsoft, but we haven't get answer yet and our customer need this been fixed urgent. Does anyone know the answer for this? Original we thought this is Windows 2008 R2 issue since this function worked ok for year. After our client upgraded to Win2008 R2, we encounter this issue. But after long time search and testing, we found this issue not just related to windows 2008 R2. It looks like something related to OS setup. But I could not figure that out. ](*,)
Detail:
Four NAV client NAV50SP1.
a. Windows 2003
b. Windows 2003
c. Windows 7
d. Windows 2008 R2
NAV client a and c work properly, but b and d send extended ACSII code (French chars etc) as question mark.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks

Found solution. Looks like the Microsoft.Navision.Mail.dll for NAV50SP1 RU2 does not work properly. Once I replaced those files from NAV2009R2. Everything work.
