Hello Experts,
Our clients are using Navision 4.0 SP1 with the native database.
Why is it that when a Sales Invoice is being posted, the system block the user from even issuing a Sales Quote even though it will not have any effect on inventory.
It will not even allow you to access the Item Card.
You will receive the message that a table has been locked by another user

Posting a sales invoice locks inventory but also T37:"Sales Line" and some other tables. It is possible that for some reason also T27:"Item" is locked,but this is not standard as far as I remember.
This is the reason that you cannot create a quote because it writes in T37:"Sales Line" that is blocked by the posting.
