Navision always gives best discount?

In Sales Line Discounts all customers get a line discount of 50% on Item discount group 500

How can I get one specific customer to only get a discount of 30% instead of 50% without removing the line "All Customers 50% from Item Disc. Group 500"?

We have about 4000 customers that are supposed to get the 50% and only a few that should get the 30%, so if at all possible, it would be easier to only make the required change for the minority.

Is there some way to make Navision not always give the best possible discount or price to the customer?

We use Navision 4.0 SP1.

First off all, NAV will always pick the best discount (unless heavy modification has been done).
So in order not to remove your all customers 50 % line, you should add an ending date before today to this line. This way NAV will stop selecting this 50 % for all the customers. Then add a line all customers 30 % with a starting date the same as the ending date of the previous line.
All them other customers, throw them into a customer group and give that group a 50 % discount.

IF you have a problem in NAV and you can't fix it, try the other way, because the other way is usually supported in NAV.

Why not creating a Customer group for both groups? Not just for the 50%off ones...

This way all prices are created the same way, and also all customers are created the same way. It's more easy to manage...

    Salut!
