Hi,
I need to setup a sales line discount effective for all customers for a range of products between 2 dates. There can be several campaigns per year, and we need to analyse the discounts given for each campaign. Can the line discounts G/L be split by attaching a dimension to the campaign to achieve this? Also can the campaign be set for all customers without having to allocate contacts in campaign segments?

NO All customer will need at least one contact to use campagins properly with segments. You could always create a campagin Contact for each customer if you wanted to however ?
Just assign your campagin Dimension and dimension value to each Campagin Campagin card> dimensions (if not a global)
This should result in your your Sales line dimension account retaining the campagin dimension you could also set this account dimension to mandatory when using a campagin
