How to allow the consumption of expired products?

In Manufacturing, if i consume the expired product it says 'Expiration Date is before the posting date. in Item Ledger Entry Entry No.=', How should i allow the same,

The system should allow you to consume expired products if the 'Strict Expiration Posting' opting is turned off for the Item Tracking Code.
If this is turned on then I guess the workaround would be to change the expiration date prior to posting the consumption.
