Copying Line Item Comments to another item

Hi,
I'm currently running NAV2009R2 using RTC.
Since there is a need to copy line item comments from one item to another, I am looking for a way which would allow me to do so.
I originally thought that copying the line and pasting would work, but due to RTC's design, I wasn't able to do so.
So now I'm thinking of creating a function that would copy the line comments from one item to another, and was wondering what method would perform this right. (like Copy Document function?)
I would greatly appreciate if you could provide me with the direction that I should be taking.
