                    Hi!
Nav 2009 R2 have better tools for developers (CTRL+F12) so now I wonder what a technical upgrade/solution upgrade really does?
Is it possible to do a technical upgrade of the dev db to use the new features but not upgrade the production database?
Since I haven't upgrade the database the object should be the same then I export from the dev db(?). :-k
The versions I'm wondering about is:
2.* -> 2009 R2
3.* -> 2009 R2
4.* -> 2009 R2
5.* -> 2009 R2
And
(to be able to skip virtual PC when running Vista and Win7)
2.* -> 5.0 SP1
3.* -> 5.0 SP1
4.* -> 5.0 SP1

Hello IT, have you tried to turn it off and on?
Have you checked the cables?
Have you released the filters?

            You're best to keep the client versions consistent between development and live. You might get away with it if you are talking the same major release, such as 2009 SP1 vs 2009 SP2. However you would run into trouble trying to export objects from 2009 SP2 back to version 5 or below.
 An other thing to think about it testing. If you tested with 2009 SP2 and the client is running version 5.0 did you really test?There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0
