Runnig report in RTC without layout problem

Hi,
I've noticed strange NAV 2009 R2 behavior: if running report which doesn't have rdlc layout in RTC, navision for some reason is calling LogInStart function from ApplicationManagement (Codeunit 1). Could anyone explain what for? I also tried debugging to see, how exactly the code is executed, but debugger wouldn't stop on any break-point I've set. Has anybody encountered anything similar?
