Average cost calc. Overview

Hello everyone,

I find some strange operation on the “Average cost calc. Overview”. This form is accessible from the item card from the field unit cost.
My problem occurs if the item is in negative inventory.

Data Test:
Nav. 5.1 or 6.1
My settings are: in the inventory setup: Average Cost Calc. Type = item; Average Cost Period = Day; in item Costing method average = Average

31/12/2010 to purchase 100 pieces of item A,
31/12/2010 to sell 200 pieces of item A,
01/01/2011 to purchase 110 pieces of item A,
31/12/2010 to purchase another 110 pieces of item A

Then I run “Adjust Cost – Item Entries”

Results: In “Average cost calc. Overview” I find to a 31/12/10 a closing entry with a quantity = 110 pieces (while the inventory is 10) and a cost wrong. The sale entry type shows a valuation date to 31/12/10 to 01/01/11.

If I run Inventory valuation report shows me a good inventory to 31/12/10 (10 pieces)
The anomaly occurs because the sale entry to 31/12/10 is applied to entry of 01/01/11.
The only solution I found is to unapply and reapply the item entries with a correct sequence to date.

Anyone knows a different way?
