Req. Worksheets with Stock Transfer

Hi Everyone,

Version: NAV 2009 R2
Database:SQL
RTC

I have setup an item with all the SKU's in the SKU for a particular item I setup a minumum Qty required in that location. I also setup the replenisment method to be Transfer and selected the MAIN warehouse.

I run the Req. worksheet and it creates a Transfer line for the required stock. The only issue it will create the line regardless if the MAIN stock location has any stock available at all? In this case the main location had ZERO stock but the transfer line was still created. Is this a bit daft or am I missing something in the setup?

You are missing something

It is the point of an integrated supply chain - the main warehouse should now have a suggested purchase order on it. The required date of the purchase order should match the transfer order shipment date, which if you have lead times will not be tomorrow but will take into account the purchase lead time.
