Development team denied a hot fix a cuple of years ago but slated it out to NAV 2013 fix. The reason being was it required a whole redesign of the Matrix Page. This is fixed in NAV 2013 but back port the 2013 Page object into NAV 6.0 R2 is not possible. The design change is too extensive. There is no resolution to this on RTC in 6.0.
Solution for customer is to either use the Classic client, or they can find the 1099 amounts other ways like printing the 'Vendor 1099 Information' or one of the Vendor 1099 Documents available.
