Navision Objects under GPL?

Hi,
Has anybody already thought about developing and exchanging navision objects under the GPL?
(GPL: General Public License, see http://www.fsf.org/copyleft/gpl.html Currently, Linux is the most popular example for a GPL-sotware)
This might be a silly and naive question, but we have developed a lot of reports and functions, which might be usefull for other developers either as a full-functioning version or as a starting point for further development or just as an idea. On the other side, we also would be interested in sharing experiences and codes from other developers.

What's your opinion? Would you support such an idea?
Is such a thing already realtity, and I just don't know of it?
What would be a suitable 'exchange'-place for objects?

Just awaiting your comments

Gunter

    Hi,
I understood that you need to
    a) develop Navision Objects in a linux ( GPL ) environment.
    - import Navision Object Files.
    - modify in a Linux existing Developement Environment
( like Qt Designer or Anjuta I suppose )
    - validate modified object as Navision Object Files and export through a Navision database.
    b) make those objects working in a Linux Client for Navision( ok, this is SF !).
I think it's a big job. You have to be sure it's legal; tell me when you start.

    Thats a real good idea.
I think that a true GPL is not possible due to the License Agreement with Navision/Microsoft.
Why not sharing your code here in the download section. I think this is one of the intentions of this forum.
