I have a general question on licensing.

Once i purchase the license can i install this license on partner location and then after testing the license on customer location. Is this legal.? :-k

Ideally there is no need to install clients license on the partner location, as being a partner you must be having a development license.
In general, we do test the client's license thoroughly for all the required modules as well as customizations, so that any issues can be sorted out prior to being live.
