Hi,

how can i add a placeholder in a report. My problem is, that our customer uses papertemplates for the invoice. On the bottom right side is a picture and i like to use the left side with the reportfooter. I already tried to add a textbox, a list and a picture box but nothing works :-(

I hope somebody can help me!

best regards,
rom

can you post a screenshot of your rdlc layout, please?
Are you talking about report footer or table footer in a table in the body section?
if you want to leave some space in a footer, just leave it! you don't need to put placeholders :-k
P.S.: if you want to print something in the body of the rdlc layout at the bottom of the page, you can't do it. you have to use report footer for this

I find that using rectangles, you can ensure that data is shown from a certain point. I have created several fixed layouts like this.
The only problem is, it only works for 1 page documents.
