Hello,

I'm testing the Nav 2009 R2 WAN connectivity for the moment.
I'm following the official MS document how to configure both the Server as the Client.

But I'm running in an error where I can't find a solution for:
When starting the NAV Server, I get the following error:
certfault.JPG

- I've made all the certificates and imported them as told in the document
- In the Certificate MMC I can see all the needed certs and the Personal cert has the correct redirection to the Root cert.

Anyone an idea why the event log still states: A valid certificate could not be found ?
Thanks for the replies?

PS: the official document can be found at: RTC over WAN

And I found the solution, the problem was comming from using the 32bit makecert.exe
When using the 64bit version everything worked fine.

If someone has problems, just ask them. I've spend over 3 days looking for info :-)

Thanks for the info. I'm sure somebody will run into the same issue and this will help them a lot.

I've also done the same schoolboy error ;)

The SDK would automatically install the x64 version in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.1\Bin

I initially used makecert.exe that was packaged with Trend WFBS.. only until I realised WFBS is 32bit then I realised my mistake
