NAV/Navision Classic Client
Hi all,
We have a trade discount scheme of - 10 unit free on purchasing of per 100 unit, how can we configure this in system, so system itself calculate the free unit OR how we can map this requirement in NAV?
Please suggest.
Regards,
Jai Verma

Well more information is required is this specific to certain items or certain groups etc ?
if you effectively recieve/give a 10% discount on trades over 100 units then use
Item discount groups where min QTy = 100 of your UOM and line discount % = 10
You can also use the Purchase line discounts for the flip side against each vendor

on some specific items, purchasing of 100 unit we give a 10 unit free to all our customers.
mean if we sale 100 to 199 unit the system should give the 1o unit free.
if the sale is 200 to 299 the feee unit is 20.
hope now the thing is clear. please suggest.

Standard NAV does not have the functionality what you are looking .
But you have the Alternative solutions .
Solution 1 :
Enter the free items in the second line and enter Price then enter 100 % Line discount.
Solution 2 :
Enter the Free items in the Second line and dont enter the Price

I think you should clear it up
When you say give 10 item for free do you mean i get 100 + 10 item so a total of 110 item at a price of 100
or do you mean you grant a discount of the value of 10 item ?
If it is the later option standard NAv does do this otherwise you will have to do a mod or as chengal suggests
