When an entry goes in 'Value Entry' table

Hi,

I want to know that when an entry comes in 'value entry' table.

an entry is created for every item ledger entry at various transactions. So any transaction that creates item ledger will create a value entry.

1. when you make Item ledger transaction, it will create the intial first value entry.
For example. when you post a sales shipment or Purchase Receipt. It will create a value entry for that Item Ledger entry.
Then when you invoice the sales order or purchase order, it will create the second entry for the invoicing of that item ledger entry.
If you ship and invoice at the same item it will create one value entry.


2. If you post any transaction directly from item journal, it will create the inventory and invoicing value entry as one entry.



Value entries that are created later.

3. When you post item charges, it will create additional value entry for item ledger entry.

4. When you run adjust cost, it will create value entry to adjust the cost of an Item Ledger Entry.
