Importing Barcodes and Variants

Hi All,

I am trying to import Barcodes and variants for my items, using the Traditional Data Migration Tool it will throw and error and it will stop the import, anybody can help me how i can import Variants with their barcodes.

What I read: is that you are "importing barcodes".

You don't really import actual barcode's unless it's a picture of a barcode.
Else it's just data... a string of characters. (Ie. UPC Code)

The barcode part comes from Font's, Cal Code, Or Generators.

So you need to look at your data.
I will assume the data is: Item#, Variant Code, Barcode code or something similar.

It's a quick dataport to import your data. See ADG on your product cd.

yes this is what i want to do, the barcode string, this is what i am trying to import and attach to the item.

I don't want to post in the "universal excel importer" post about dataports.
So when I use dataports & I need to skip the first line due to it being a header line I use the suggestion posted here:
