OCX Controls

Do we need to install OCX custom controls in every client in order to use it..??
I am currently using custom control for importing jpeg images. I have installed it on server, but in order to use on every client i have to install it on every client which is very tedious.
Can someone throw some light on it???

Depends on your situation. There are also possible solutions where your OCX is only installed on a server. But for normal, yes. On Classic Client the code is executed by the client, so every client needs your OCX.
