Slow Deletion in Payment Journal

Hello. We have a customer on NAV 2009 SP1 SQL 2005 and they are having an issue with deleting lines out of the Payment Journal. It is taking about 40 seconds per line to delete. We are able to restore it to other SQL 2005 servers and it works fine, but we cannot figure out what setting may be different on the production sever. We have tried moving the log files and every other trick I could find online, but so far we have had zero success.

If you search the forum for words like performance you will find a lot of posts.
I would start by using Client Monitor or SQL Profiler to see which commands are delaying the process...

A better bet would be to use the SQL Profiler.
