While Starting Business Webservices

Hi Experts,

I have an issue with Webservices, like it was working fine for say around 2 days. Webservice was working for default port 7047. We have created a Webservice for our project with port no : 7049. Both was working fine. But suddenly when we try to start the Service the next day, it was saying an error as shown below:

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Web Services service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service.

Any idea, what could be the problem for this??? I tried to configure HTTPCfg, but then also it doesn't worked.

I used to delete all Apllications and systems events in Event Viewer

restart server service also before webservice..

Event viewer are log files of events. How they are goint to impact the system processes/services :-k

Hi,

I have restarted the Server Services also.. but not working

Whether i need to re-install Nav ??
If so, if i give Repair icon while running Nav2009Sp1 setup file, any of my configuration setups like for e.g i have created multiple Services for different Projects(for my RTC) will get lost in C:\ drive where the program is installed??

Please suggest any idea....

I tried by giving 7080 and then re-started the services(server & webservice). The same error was showing. Then again i changed to 7047, but still same problem. I don't think that is the solution... may be something im missing out... But i didn't do any configuration related to 7047 as its a default port. Only 1 thing i did was, i created a new webservice for Port No: 7049. That's it...

I have deleted the new service which i have created & then tested for 7047...

just a try.. but same error.
