revaluation journal error. at least one open outbound ILE

hello, I am using NAV 2009 Classic client.
I am trying to do a revaluation journal for one item.
This error message comes up when I try and run the routine.
'The Item CAN-1635 cannot be revalued because there is at least one open Outbound Item Ledger Entry'
I am running the reval journal as of 11/30/2010
I have 15 open transactions that range from 11/16/2010 to 11/30/2010. The majority of those are purchases, with some of them being negative adjustments.
I thought I could revalue open entries, I guess not.
Any ideas how I can run my revaluation journal ?
