Certain lists crash NAV server and closes RTC connection

Ok, it seems that the problem got solved.

In the NAV Classic client I used the Translate tool (F11) on Object Designer windows to translate all possible objects in database. Prior running the translation I stopped the NAV Server service and started it after completing translation. It seems that this problem concerns only translated installations.

Hello Everyone,

I'm very new to NAV and trying to learn system administrator side of NAV deployment. I have very little understanding of NAV's inner functions and I'm concentrating on upkeeping the NAV environment compared to using NAV client to make business.

I'm facing a problem in my demo environment. When I use role tailored client and navigate and click the following list the RTC connection crashes.







I presume that NAV server closes the connection to RTC when the following error happens (message from NAV Server event log):

Where I can start looking for the problem? The requested value 'Bittikartta' translates to 'Bitmap'.

This is related to the field of some design object. Probably related to a bitmap field that is not there.

well I exported everything with translate and did not find the 'word' not found, in my case 'bitmapp'

compiling everything AND changing the nav server service user to networkservice AND restarting did the trick...
