Automation variables in Navision 2.60F

In Navision 2.60F, I have a variable that is defined as type Automation. I want to be able to code Navision to react to the events that are fired by this DLL. I know in 3.60 there is a property called WithEvents that can be set on the variable. Does anyone know of something like this in 2.60?

You can do a technical upgrade to 2.65 or an even more recent version, check with your MBS-Partner if you're a customer.
