Has anybody enabled NAV Maillog with Office Outlook 2010?

Hello,
I was asked by customer to activate NAV Maillog for him and faced the problem, that he had installed Win2k8R2 and Office2010 a few days before.
Unfortunatly Maillog I could not get maillog to run and so I asked Microsoft for support.
They answered with the following link:

At this point even the mentioned KB article didn't exist and so I had to wait a couple of weeks.
Now they send me a new nasapphandler.dll and told me to manually install cdo components, unfortunatly the component does not want to be installed with outlook 2010 installed :-(
What can I do now? I don't expect that MS will release an update for maillog based on new Outlook Object Model until NAV V7.
Could anybody solve this problem and can give me a hint?
