Production Order Costing based on purchased value

Hi,

Is it possible to calculate Production Order cost based on component's purchased price?. I am not able to take the unit cost of components since those values are fully messed up. I don't think those are correct, so thinking of creating the report based on the Direct unit cost of purchase order. We will get the posted purchase receipt details from Applied Entries from the Production order's Item Ledger Entries. Is there any issue in taking a report like that?. Value would be correct, right?.

I would correct all of your messed up costs before trying to push an issue under the carpet by modifying around the problem
