MAC Address

Dear experts,

We need a security associated with the MAC address for its employees (employee can only work in his/her computer, not in the other computer). For example, if I were user “A”, means I can only work in Area A (which is my area, for example accounting and only use my computer.) so in other words I can’t do my job in other areas (example area “B” by using the user's computer “B”). Security is needed more than just windows passwords. Please share if you have experienced such a case, thank you.

Regards,
Tabita

Maybe you could use the "getmac" command, redirect the output to a txt-file, and read this file from NAV? :-k

Use Windows Authentication and restrict the systems from which a user can login. MAC address restrictions are a core feature of Directory Services.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.
