'There is no Currency Exchange Rate within the Filter'

When trying to set the Additional Reporting Currency withing the General Ledger Set-Up, the process runs through and then stop with error message that ''There is no Currency Exchange Rate within the Filter Filter Currency Code EUR, Starting Date "..10/11/2010

I set the Exchange Rate up with a Starting Rate of today and then further Exchange Rates going back as the error kept reoccuring with various dates.

The Change Additional Reporting Currency routine runs through each time and then brings up the error above, each time with an earlier date. The date has gone back to 16/02/1999, years before any data on the system.

There is nowhere to specify the dates, please can anyone advise me in this.

Are you sure there is no transaction in in table G/L Entry, Item Ledger Entry/Value Entry for the date specified in the error.
