hi everyone, does anyone have an idea about what does this error mean?

the type navoption is unknown

it appears when running an rtc report. the report does compile; the error is runtime
can it be some property that is conditioned to a nav option field? :-k
thanks in advance...now i'm going to apply the "remove-controls-randomly-until-you-find-the-problem" approach :whistle:

Self-solved just a moment after posting
it was my fault: a wrong GET, a field was missing. The "nav friendly" error came up after trying to run the report from classic...
I hope this will be useful for someone else, too...(this error didn't appear even in google results, probably because it's so stupid that no one already encountered it #-o )

Thanks - one year later it helped me when testing an XMLPort. I used a GET statement, but had swapped two of the Key Field values, one of which was an option field.

Your post was the ONLY hit on google (phew), and it helped me find it right away

Hi,

i had this error again.

I only actualized the datas under sections - property of the controlls, open Layout again and actualized the names of all fields.
Then compile, restart the RTC and the Report starts without problems.

I got this error while working with a web service based function.
The error message I got from the WS call didnt help much, but thanks to this post i quickly found the error - a missing ("NavOption") field in a get (on sales header)..
