NEC Pinwriter 3300 Printer with Navision

Hi All,

One of our client using NEC Pinwriter 3300 (Dot Matrix Type). They can print to this printer from One of the Application BIS (DOS Based).

When we are trying to print from Navision it is giving printer error cannot print. I tried printing from MS word also cannot print.

Please advise what causes the problem. They are using WIndows XP OS.

If you cannot print from MS word than it is not NAV issue. Contact the OEM vendor of the printer and ask for "drivers" of Win XP.

Worse, I believe NEC discontinued all of their printers and they are all past service dates (no more support)

Throw it away and get a laser printer.
