As far as I know there are some restrictions regarding the license of Google Maps for commercial use of their maps. I've heard that if you use for private purpose there's no problem, but if you use it in your company you have to pay some license fee. Do you know more about that topic and could you explain it a little bit?"Money is likewise the greatest chance and the greatest scourge of mankind."0

If this code uses the Google Maps API, then here is the link to their FAQ which answers questions as "Can I use the Google Maps APIs on a commercial website?", "My site gets a lot of traffic. Can I use the Maps API?": http://code.google.com/intl/nl-BE/apis/maps/faq.htmlNo support using PM or e-mail - Please use this forum. BC TechDays 2024: 13 & 14 June 2024, Antwerp (Belgium)0

Thanks for the link, it's very useful.Google Maps API Family FAQ wrote:However, not all commercial uses are allowed. If your site meets any of the following criteria you must use Google Maps API Premier:
•Your site is only available to paying customers.
•Your site is only accessible within your company or on your intranet."Money is likewise the greatest chance and the greatest scourge of mankind."0 -

See also the topic "Can I use Google Maps in my non-Web application?" in that FAQ, saying that the other restrictions apply for desktop-applications as well.No support using PM or e-mail - Please use this forum. BC TechDays 2024: 13 & 14 June 2024, Antwerp (Belgium)0
