As far as I know there are some restrictions regarding the license of Google Maps for commercial use of their maps. I've heard that if you use for private purpose there's no problem, but if you use it in your company you have to pay some license fee. Do you know more about that topic and could you explain it a little bit?

If this code uses the Google Maps API, then here is the link to their FAQ which answers questions as "Can I use the Google Maps APIs on a commercial website?", "My site gets a lot of traffic. Can I use the Maps API?": http://code.google.com/intl/nl-BE/apis/maps/faq.html

Thanks for the link, it's very useful.
However, not all commercial uses are allowed. If your site meets any of the following criteria you must use Google Maps API Premier:

•Your site is only available to paying customers.
Your site is only accessible within your company or on your intranet.
Do you think an app within NAV will match the second criterion?

Do you think an app within NAV will match the second criterion?
I think so. And then you should use Google Maps API Premier. So maybe that can be made configurable in the full version?

See also the topic "Can I use Google Maps in my non-Web application?" in that FAQ, saying that the other restrictions apply for desktop-applications as well.
