SQL Logins not created when synchronizing in NAV

9.00.4053.00 SP3 Standard Edition (64-bit)

NAV 5.0 with Enhanced Security Model.

When creating Windows Logins and then choosing to Synchronize Single Login, I get no error message but the SQL Login is not created automatically.

I can go into Management Studio and create the SQL Login with the same Windows Auth account. This account has the sysadmin, serveradmin, securityadmin etc.

I've tested it with a fresh installation and it works but can't seem to get it working on this instance.

Can anyone shed any light on why this might be?

Thanks, Steve

I have spent quite a long time searching the forums but have so far been unable to find anyone else with exactly same issue as above. I will keep searching.

This is a quote from What's New in Developing for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1:
    Changes in SQL Server usage

In Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1, creating a new user in Microsoft Dynamics NAV automatically creates corresponding SQL Server users in both the Microsoft Dynamics NAV database and the master database. Formerly, users were created only in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV database. This change requires Microsoft Dynamics NAV administrators to have greater permissions on SQL Server than for previous versions.
